legend attributes this former hunting lodge dating back to the 17th century, to armand duplessis, the cardinal ofrichelieu’s nephew. the property was bought by lucien lurton in 1983. his daughter, marie-laure, a competentoenologist, took over the running of the business in 1992.the wines of château duplessis, highly characteristic of their appellation, have a dense color,displaying concentrated, fleshy tannins on the palate, and a full, fragrant bouquet on the nose.
